While we have Domestic Care Assistants and Personal Care Assistants to provide detailed cleans and support with daily living, there are times when a client would appreciate a very light service and having a chat with someone.

It is an opportunity to interact directly with clients while providing some light domestic support. This might include washing laundry, light dusting or washing dishes. It does not include vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, meal preparation or a full domestic clean.

We are also looking at offering an ironing service which would involve a pick-up and drop off service to keep our clients clothes pressed and looking smart.

The main benefit to the client and the volunteer is the connection and interaction. It helps to break up the clients routine and adds immense value.
