Volunteer Business Development Board Member

Hair Aid

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase the number of volunteers, donors, and partnerships for Hair Aid Work with the marketing and communications team to create promotional materials and campaigns to attract volunteers, donors, and partners Identify potential partners and establish relationships with them Coordinate volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts, including developing and implementing training programs for volunteers Work with the finance team to develop funding proposals and grants to support the organisation's programs and initiatives Monitor and report on the progress of business development initiatives Attend community events and meetings to promote the organisation and build relationships with stakeholders Develop and maintain a database of potential partners, volunteers, and donors

Qualifications:

Passion for helping those that need support At least 2 years of experience in business development, marketing, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of volunteer management and recruitment strategies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management software Passion for the organisation's mission and values

Working Conditions:

Volunteers will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including community leaders, non-profits, businesses, and other potential partners.

The Volunteers Business Development Officer will meet in a casual office environment, with occasional travel to attend events and meetings. Some evening and weekend work may be required to attend community events and engage with potential partners and volunteers.

This is a volunteer position and no salary will be paid, but there may be opportunities for professional development and networking.
