Do you enjoy serving people and making them feel welcome? We need one more volunteer to join the current team of 2 people to assist with set-up, serving and clean-up of morning tea for residents who attend the weekly Chapel service on Thursday mornings. About 25-30 residents, all living with Dementia attend a Chapel service from 10:30am – 11:30 am.

Set up drinks and Welcome residents and assist them to sit down and enjoy a drink. After Chapel you may assist residents back to their apartments and clean up the drink station.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
