Share your love of music with our residents. Music has the power to stimulate feelings of well-being by evoking memories and emotions. You can help play a valuable role in the lives of MercyCare's residents by playing music at our aged care home in Maddington.

You can visit once a week for a minimum of 2 hours to share the passion and enjoyment o music.

The role requires the volunteer to be a good communicator, develop rapport quickly, enjoy entertaining and being around older people, especially people living with dementia. the purpose of the role is to enhance the quality of life for our residents to reduce loneliness and isolation. It is an important role to maintain a residents good mental health to reduce stress and slowing cognitive decline.
