We encourage involvement from members of all ages and are committed to providing a supportive and flexible environment.

Marine Rescue volunteers play a significant and vital role in ensuring their local communities are safe by undertaking both operational and non-frontline functions. As Secretary you will be tasked with managing the administration of the group.  We are looking for an organised, adaptable, and dedicated volunteer to carry out the following tasks:

• Monitor group email account and coordinate and manage correspondence
• Manage group membership records and processes for new members
• Maintain accurate record of group documents, registers, procedures, and compliance certificates
• Keep full and correct minutes of proceedings of group committee meetings and AGM
• Comply with and perform other duties as defined by Standing Orders and the group’s Constitution
• Undertake group activities in adherence to requirements of the Associations Incorporation Act 2015
• Support committee members and volunteers with administrative tasks as needed
• Liaise with DFES regional office as required
