We are looking to increase our pool of volunteer drivers.

Volunteer drivers assist with tasks such as:

• food box collections and drop offs (between the pickup location and our centre)
• collecting donated clothing and other items from charities in the Sydney area and bringing these to our centre for distribution to community members in need
• taking vehicles to the local car wash/mechanic when needed.

This role is flexible, and suited to somebody with daytime availability during the week who would like to get out of the house and do something practical to assist a local community organisation.

You need to be comfortable driving a range of automatic vehicles (cars and a small van), hold a current valid driving licence and have a good driving record. As the role includes collecting and dropping off items such as food boxes (approx. 5kg), some lifting is required.
