Imagine Global is a growing new Charity in Perth, WA, and are connected with universities such as UWA as well. We are an official charity with the ACNC, and have a number of local and overseas humanitarian programs ongoing to date.

Many of the clients we help face crisis in some way - whether a disability, medical condition, or being frail as an elderly. They have difficulty coping with daily tasks that the average population may take for granted and need our help. Some of may have added socioeconomic challenges and isolation, and appreciate emotional support.

As a Crisis Home Support Volunteer your role will involve: - Participating in a team to perform basic house help such as gardening\, cleaning and clearing of house items as needed. - Connecting with clients to find out about their situation and support them emotionally - Some clients may need additional services which Imagine may be able to provide - such as delivery of care package (essential goods) and referral to agencies that may be able to support for specific needs - If interested in position of Team Leader: Added duties include overseeing safety of house visit\, ensuring picking up and returning equipment for the house visit (water\, gloves and other cleaning/gardening equipment that will be provided)\, may need to liaise with client to arrange appropriate date and time. *A bonus would be being able to operate a whipper snipper for gardening - if you can do this or other specific gardening equipment please mention this in correspondence to us*

*Volunteers will have choice of how many sessions they wish to attend - whether once-off or on a regular basis\, though a once a month visit commitment is highly preferred*

Beneficiaries will generally include clients from around Perth and WA south metropolitan area: - Aboriginal community - Elderly - Disabled and physically unwell

Pre-requisites: - Over 18yo - Able and willing to travel to client's address (Carpool can be arranged amongst team members) - Prefer ability to volunteer at least once a month for 6 months - Able to perform basic house help\, with no physical ailment or condition that would be at danger of being exacerbated from tasks done. - Agree to abide by instructions and guidelines given COVID-19 climate
