We have a weekly Barbecue for residents at our Retirement Community in Cowandilla. Starting with setup, volunteers help with preparations, serving lunch, chatting with residents and cleaning up. This opportunity promises to be a lot of fun for all involved. The position would best suit those with patience, empathy, and a passion for positive ageing. Any training required will be provided, with ongoing support. All volunteers require a police clearance (paid for by employer) for the purposes of Aged Care, which will be facilitated by Calvary, and evidence of vaccination against influenza and Covid. If you have 2 – 3 hours to offer Monday - Friday we would love to hear from you. In return we can offer a rewarding opportunity to volunteer in a caring and happy environment.
