The Smith FamilyThe Customer Service and Administration Support Volunteer role is a vital in the work of the Supporter Care Team. The Supporter Care Team (SCT) manages all aspects of contact with supporters, primarily sponsors, regular givers and one-off donors. The role specifically ensures all correspondence received is compliant with The Smith Family privacy and child protection responsibilities. Being an Admin Support volunteer is a valuable and important role and ensures the Supporter Care team are providing TSF supporters, sponsors, donors and the general public with a high level of customer service. Key responsibilities: • Ensure correspondence is compliant with TSF privacy and child protection responsibilities • Accurate Data is verified and recorded into the TSF CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system • Editing inappropriate correspondence as required • Arranging the timely dispatch of mail • Assisting in sorting and checking incoming mail against defined criteria • General administration activities Essential Competencies / Skills: • High level of attention to detail • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Excellent communication skills with an ability to maintain effective relationships across a range of functional areas • Proficient skills in current Microsoft Office packages • An aptitude for multitasking • A genuine can-do attitude Essential Experience / Education: • Experience in Data Entry • Experience in a similar position in providing administrative assistance within a professional and confidential environment Desirable Experience / Education: • Awareness of the community services sector • Awareness of education services sector • Issues affecting disadvantaged people Screening requirements – (NSW) • National Police Check • NSW Working with Children Check • 2 x Reference Checks
