Volunteer Coordination

  • Volunteer recruitment, induction, training, coordination and supervision
  • Manage and monitor the volunteer email account, responding to emails professionally and within a timely manner
  • Assist with the coordination of HQ events, pet pantry distribution, intersection collections and other community/fundraising events
  • Attend above mentioned events and oversee volunteers
  • Respond to requests from the Animal Rescue Program team for volunteer assistance
  • Other ad-hoc tasks at PUR HQ in Coburg

Key Skills

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated networking and relationship management skills
  • Proficient in the use of Google Suite
  • Ability to work both autonomously with limited support and as a team member

Requirements

  • Have a road worthy vehicle and current drivers licence
  • Have a current police check (we can assist with this)
  • Be passionate about animal welfare and the human/animal bond
  • Live locally to Coburg (or be willing and able to travel to Coburg)
