Admin and Program Support Volunteer

Support daily site management, client and engagement activities across three services including Early Intervention & Tenancy Support, Tenant Participation Community Engagement and Emergency Relief South West Sydney. Activities include:

  • general admin including creating new welcoming packs for clients, checking stock supplies, coordinating food hampers, supporting outreach events including set up, catering and clean up
  • maintenance of files, folders, hard copy resources on SharePoint and supporting the development of admin standard operating procedures
  • assisting intake by supporting prospective clients to complete forms
  • greeting and directing visitors, answering and directing calls

Requires:

  • strong coordination and administrative skills / experience
  • good communication skills with ability to communicate in a clear concise manner
  • a welcoming, supportive and practical approach
  • ability to engage and work inclusively with ATSI, CALS and LGBTQI+ communities
  • ability to actively support Mission Australia's purpose, values, policies and procedures
