The volunteer will assist staff in establishing and running a new group specifically for older men in the Waterloo area. Many clients come from marginalised and disadvantaged backgrounds and this new "Men's Only" group will offer a great opportunity to socialise, join in activities and talk about bloke stuff. A male volunteer will enhance the team by helping out where needed and most importantly engaging with clients and encouraging participation. You are welcome to bring your own interests and skills to the group activities e.g. arts/science based, music, fitness, etc...
