Administration Assistant

Sister Project

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform administrative duties, maintain files, and organise documents; photocopy, archive, etc. as needed
  • Assist in planning workshops or special projects
  • Assist with organising materials and donations
  • Help prepare reports, presentations, and data
  • Type documents, drafts, and reports
  • Update electronic databases and calendars
  • Support programs conducted Sister Project
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Maintaining Community rooms and common areas, ensuring they are welcoming spaces.
  • Applying skills and talents in areas of interest to you.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars etc.
  • Experience in Canva desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Energetic, creative and problem-solving attitude
  • Respect for privacy and confidentiality and comply with organisational policies and procedures -
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, sound judgement, empathy, and respect for individuals from migrant and refugee backgrounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and also autonomously
  • Desire to learn any skills not already proficient in
  • Commitment to at least one day per week for 6 months
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • National Police Check (NPC) - we can assist with this
