Administration Assistant
Sister ProjectWhat you’ll be doing:
- Perform administrative duties, maintain files, and organise documents; photocopy, archive, etc. as needed
- Assist in planning workshops or special projects
- Assist with organising materials and donations
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and data
- Type documents, drafts, and reports
- Update electronic databases and calendars
- Support programs conducted Sister Project
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Maintaining Community rooms and common areas, ensuring they are welcoming spaces.
- Applying skills and talents in areas of interest to you.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars etc.
- Experience in Canva desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic, creative and problem-solving attitude
- Respect for privacy and confidentiality and comply with organisational policies and procedures -
- Possess personal qualities of integrity, sound judgement, empathy, and respect for individuals from migrant and refugee backgrounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- Ability to work well within a team environment and also autonomously
- Desire to learn any skills not already proficient in
- Commitment to at least one day per week for 6 months
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check (NPC) - we can assist with this
