Community Support Volunteer - Transport (Outreach and Appointments)

St Bart's
Logo for St Bart's

St Bart's House provide safe, supported accommodation and services to people who need it the most, regardless of background, age, gender or ethnicity.

The purpose of Saint Bartholomew's House is to encourage clients who have a previous experience or are at risk of homelessness and who have a range of needs to participate in activities that will enhance social interaction, communication, motivation and self esteem, to support their reintegration back into the community.

We're currently taking expressions of interest for volunteers to take consumers to access community outreach and/or other appointments on a Wednesday or Thursday between 11/11.30 am -2/2.30pm, although there is some flexibility in these times.

This would involve transporting consumers 2 at a time using one of our vehicles, between our East Perth office and the outreach program in Osborne park, or other appointments in the community.

Experience with social services or previous experience in working with people who have experienced homelessness or similar would be an advantage.

St Bart’s is an equal opportunity employer which values diversity and inclusion and we encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, people from the LGBTIQ+ communities and people living with a disability.

COVID19 & Flu Vaccination are no longer required but are strongly recommended.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
