Volunteers are asked to make a 6-month commitment for a weekly shift. Currently we have a range of shift available across a range of days. This shift availability can change so please include your availability when applying.

Shifts Times Available: All Day: 7:15am - 4:15pm, Mornings 7:15am-12pm or Afternoons 12pm-4:15pm

Interested volunteers will have:

  • Basic understanding of animal care and maintenance and a passion for learning

Applicants will be given more information regarding Q Fever at the phone interview stage and encouraged to speak with their GP for more information.

What's in it for you? Be part of a close-knit team who love to share their knowledge and experience in caring for animals of all kinds. Volunteers will be provided with a shirt, hat and a variety of opportunities within the role, including feeding, husbandry and enrichment activities. All volunteers are presented with a certificate of appreciation showing the amount of time they worked with us at the end of their commitment.
