Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre is seeking volunteer to assist us with facilitating the Chatty Café program. Chatty Café runs weekly on a Wednesday from 10am – 12 noon. Volunteers applying for this role will be friendly, with a genuine interest in people, able to initiate and hold inclusive conversation, are non-judgemental and sensitive to the needs of others.

The volunteer facilitator will welcome community members to join the table for a ‘cuppa and chat’. Initiate and facilitate conversation and assist participants to make tea and coffee if needed. The role also includes assisting with set up, cleaning and pack up of the Chatty Café space and equipment.
