Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre is seeking volunteer to lead a weekly walking group around the Karingal area from Karingal PLACE on a Tuesday morning from 9.30am – 10.30am, followed by a short social tea or coffee in the centre.

Volunteers applying for this role will be friendly, with a genuine interest in people, have a good level of health and fitness, able to initiate and hold inclusive conversations with various people, are non-judgmental and sensitive to the needs of others. Knowledge of the streets in and around the Karingal area is desirable, but not essential.

The volunteer facilitator will welcome participants, guide the group through some gentle stretching pre and post walk, plan and lead participants on a walk in and around Karingal and engage with community members during and post walk over a social cup of tea or coffee.
