Livable is a not-for-profit organisation and is currently enjoying significant growth, which is carefully guided by a skills-based Board of Governance and progressive CEO.

After recently conducting a skills analysis review, the Board is now looking to fill three non-executive director vacancies, with an emphasis on attracting the following skills:

• Workplace Health and Safety
• Information Technology
• Marketing/Public Relations
• Aged and/or Disability Services Management

Ideal Candidate

Livable directors are passionate volunteers who attend roughly 6 face-to-face board meetings per year plus membership of a relevant sub-committee (a further four meetings per year online).

We are seeking the interest of suitably skilled individuals who have sound knowledge of organisational governance and director responsibilities. Candidates identifying as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander, those living with a disability, or those caring for someone with a disability will be highly regarded.

Successful appointees will have an empathetic connection to the purpose and values of Livable and an enthusiasm and desire to contribute broadly to the success of the organisation.
