We’re looking for a friendly person who can brighten the day of an elderly gentleman in Morisset. Originally from the UK with a background in the building and transport industry, our client would like to meet someone to chat over a cuppa and chat about his interests including bush walking, tenpin bowling and gardening.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
