If you have a few hours spare a fortnight to give back to the community , I have a lovely volunteering opportunity available.

The volunteering involves visiting a delightful older client in their home once a fortnight for an hour's time.

If you live locally (Neutral Bay, Carlingford, Northbridge or Forestville area), 'have empathy for older people, are caring and reliable and can visit for at least the next six months as a minimum, it is sure to be an enjoyable and rewarding experience for you as much as it is for the client.

Not sure what can you do in a visit with an older person? That is ok, every client is different, and every volunteer is different. Visits can be spent doing activities such as reading a book together, listening to music, go for a short walk or coffee, board games, having a chat, watching a TV program together, craft, arts whatever you both enjoy doing.

If you work or study from home and have some flexibility in your day, this may be the perfect opportunity for you also.
