MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

Would you like to visit an older person and make a real difference in their life? Have you got some time and conversation to share to reduce loneliness?

We are seeking a Community Visitor for a lovely lady at an Aged Care Home in Sunshine who would enjoy the company of a female visitor for friendship and to join for outings in the community. She enjoys listening to music, dancing and going for coffee.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.
