Fundraising Administrative Assistant

Our March Walkies fundraising campaign will help us raise vital funds for the shelter so that we can look after the 1,000's of animals that come into our care each year. 

This short-term volunteer role will be based in our small and supportive philanthropy team and includes the following tasks:

  • Participant and fundraiser engagement, including calling and emailing fundraisers to thank and engage with them
  • Sending out prizes to successful fundraisers
  • Writing thank you notes to supporters, including participants and donors
  • Administration of fundraiser and supporter records in CRM as required for activity and donation processing

We're looking for two people to help on a Monday and Friday (Tuesday is also a possibility).

The hours are 10am - 2pm and the role would start week commencing 6th February and would finish at the end of March (8 weeks).

To be considered for this volunteer position you must be 18 years or over and possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive disposition
  • High proficiency with computer skills
  • Attention to detail and an ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
