MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We are seeking a Volunteer Visitor, Cantonese or Vietnamese speaking to visit a lovely woman living in aged care in Springvale. She enjoys listening to Hong Kong songs and drama. This lady would greatly benefit from being able to connect with a visitor in Cantonese for Vietnamese.

If you are looking for a volunteer role that makes a positive difference to another person, brings mutual joy and is flexible - this is a role for you.

You need to be fluent in either Cantonese or Vietnamese, warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.
