Tutoring Manager

Description:

As a Tutoring Manager, you will be part of a dynamic, collaborative and high-performing team to work on the management and innovation of RESN's tutoring services. You’ll be leading the implementation of RESN’s strategy within your team and ensuring that students have access to a consistent, high quality service. Through managing and improving two of our key services, as well as other projects, you will be making an immediate difference to hundreds of disadvantaged regional students.

Key Characteristics

We are looking for a manager who has:

  • Passion for improving students’ access to high quality educational services regardless of geography
  • An astute ability to think creatively, take initiative and problem solve
  • Strong interpersonal skills and passion for leading and organising a multi-faceted team
  • 5-6 hours/week to dedicate to RESN (flexible around uni commitments)

Key Tasks

Here's a snapshot of what a semester as a Tutoring Manager might look like for you:

  • Hosting weekly team meetings and leading discussions
  • Managing and organising a multi-faceted team; fostering a positive environment for each team member and ensuring work is delegated effectively
  • Spearheading the implementation of RESN’s mission within your team through the management and improvement of key services
  • Being involved in dynamic discussions about improving RESN's tutoring services and tutor experience
  • Participating in weekly Education meetings to contribute to the overall direction of RESN’s Education team
  • Attending RESN events where possible
