MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll, have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home through ongoing friendship.

We have individuals living in aged care in the Malvern, Glen Iris, Camberwell, Kew and Bentleigh areas who would benefit from companionship and would enjoy 1:1 conversation with a new friend.

If you are looking for a volunteer role that makes a positive difference to another person, brings mutual joy and is flexible - this is a role for you.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.
