We are looking for enthusiastic additions to our Fairy Meadow Surf Life Saving family who are eager and willing to be trained up to participate in patrolling the beach. We provide all training... no prior experience necessary!

Once your training is complete you will become part of a rotating Sunday roster, typically asking you to volunteer approx 4 hours per month for either a 9-1230 or 1230- 5pm shift. You will patrol within a supportive team who each play different roles.

We welcome both strong swimmers and those more apprehensive in the open water as there are specific land only roles within each patrol.

In addition, as a member you'll have the opportunity to gain experience in leadership, administration, education, digital media, lifesaving & facilitating junior activities (e.g. Nippers). Life Savers find it's a great way to develop skills and build your resume while taking in all the local beach has to offer.

Not only that, you'll get FREE access to our well equipped 24/7 Gym, use of our surf craft when ever you like, and access to our club shower and change room facilities.

We have training days coming up on the 4th and 5th of Feb and we welcome all interested! On completion, you'll receive your CPR, First Aid Certificate and later on, your Bronze Medallion! As time passes, you'll also be given the option to expand your skills from advanced resuscitation, Silver medallion and beach safety management, to learning to fly drones, ride jet skis and get qualified in driving an Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB).
