Bilingual Playgroup Facilitator

As a Bilingual Playgroup Facilitator at Glebe TreeHouse, some of your key duties will include:

  • Developing and facilitating interactive and developmentally appropriate activities for young children aged 0-5 years old who speak more than one language
  • Engaging with families and supporting them in their role as their child's first and most important educator
  • Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all families

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An interest in children and early childhood development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Familiarity with different cultures and languages is a plus, as our playgroup serves families from a diverse range of backgrounds.
  • The role would be ideal for a parent or carer who is also raising a child with more than one language.

Glebe TreeHouse is a community centre that belongs to the NSW Department of Education's Schools as Community Centres Project. We offer a range of programs and services to support and empower families with young children in our community.
