Primary and Secondary Student Curriculum Support
ASIA EDUCATION FOUNDATIONThis opportunity is ideally suited to Australian qualified and registered teachers or Australian student teachers and teacher candidates.
Volunteers can volunteer on a one-off basis or a more regular basis such as a for a few hours a week/fortnight/month to assist in resource development that supports Australian schools, teachers and students.
Volunteers can use their skills to learn more about and assist with the following -
- Resource design and development for Australian primary and secondary students on topics including; Identity, Belonging, Culture, Intercultural Understanding, Global Citizenship, Global Competence, Empathy and Respect, Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion, UN Sustainable Development Goals, Our Asia-Pacific Region
- Assist with and observe primary and secondary student program delivery and facilitation – online and face-to-face programs
- Program design and development for Australian school teachers that support their pedagogical knowledge and understanding of: Intercultural Understanding, Global Citizenship, Cross-Curriculum Priorities, General Capabilities, Asia Literacy and Capability, Asia-Pacific Engagement
This is an ideal opportunity to gain further experience and knowledge of alternative education settings and gain skills learn from other qualified teachers in a not-for-profit education organisation. You will have an impact on resources used by students and teachers across Australia.
