Logo for Girl Guides Western Australia (Inc.)

Roleystone Guides are seeking women to become Unit Helpers at their Unit. The Unit meets for 1.5 hours on Thursday evenings in two sessions. Session One (Grade 1-4) from 4.30pm to 6pm and Session Two (Grade 4-7) from 6pm to 7.30pm. Girl Guide Unit Helpers are role models that provide support to young girls to help them discover their potential as young leaders of their world. This is one of the most rewarding and fun volunteering jobs around!

What do we do? Girl Guides WA aims to empower girls and young women to discover their potential as leaders of their world.

What do Unit Helpers do? Our Unit Helpers meet (usually weekly) with a group of girls of a specific age group of their preference in a community centre or hall. Meetings run between 1.5 and 2 hours. During the meeting you will help girls develop skills, positive values and confidence through fun activities. You will be supported by a Region Manager (also a volunteer), Guide Support Officer and the team of other Leaders in the Region.

No previous Guiding experience necessary.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
