St Bart'sSt Bart's House provides safe, supported accommodation and services to people who need it the most, regardless of background, age, gender or ethnicity.
The purpose of Saint Bartholomew's House is to encourage clients who have a previous experience or are at risk of homelessness and who have a range of needs to participate in activities that will enhance social interaction, communication, motivation and self-esteem.
We are looking for dedicated, kind, compassionate volunteers to assist our residents at our Medina site.
Activities may include assisting volunteers to with life tasks such as learning to use public transport and providing gentle encouragement & support or possibly just company to perform other daily tasks such as cooking, grocery shopping or washing clothes etc. Young people who may have not been taught these skills often find this particularly helpful.
