The Common Good main café servery is located inside the Caboolture Hospital, offering customers a selection of hot meals, sandwich bar, freshly made sushi, soup and salads, cold drinks, baked sweets, Merlo coffee and a retail section with convenience foods, gifts, magazines and essential items.

The coffee caravan offers cold drinks, Merlo coffee, and a small selection of sandwiches & snacks.

This role covers several activities and will vary from shift to shift, depending on the requirements of the café, for example:

• Food packaging and dating for sale • Food preparation • Making and packaging salads for sale • Washing dishes • Transporting food from the kitchen to the café and caravan • General cleaning

Due to construction currently underway at the hospital, the kitchen that services both the main café and coffee caravan is located separately, so meals need to be transported between these areas.
