Good Gear Op Shop operates 4 days per week on Mondays to Thursdays and some Saturdays, 9:30 to 1:30. As a valued volunteer you will be be working as part of a team, under the leadership of an experienced Manager. Various tasks are undertaken based on your preferred work station. E.g. sales; sorting; displays; advertising on socials; and general retail environment tasks. We pride ourselves on quality products and very low prices, so that no-one is excluded. We continually rotate stock with seasons and keep items new and fresh. We also work closely with MarionLIFE Community Services for people who may be in crisis or need an extra hand. Our attention to detail, friendly and welcoming service keeps our regular customers coming back, and we always love to have new customers. Customer and volunteer parking is available and we are close to public transport. We are registered with Centrelink so if you are looking for volunteer hours to meet your requirements, then we are very happy to work with you.
