Burwood Seniors Computer Club, a non-profit organization affiliated with the Australian Seniors Computer Club Association (ASCCA), offers computer, smartphone, tablet, and Apple Mac training to seniors over 50 in Burwood LGA.

Location: Burwood

Days: Wednesdays, 9am to 1pm, 8 weeks (during school term)

Burwood Seniors Computer Club is looking for experienced computer users who enjoy technology and are willing to volunteer their time to tutor seniors over 50. Volunteer Tutors will assist members in learning how to use their devices for tasks like emailing, photo management, internet browsing, using travel apps, social media and more.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in IT with patience and enthusiasm for teaching older individuals
• Fluency in English
• Commitment to at least 6 months of volunteering
• Reliability and punctuality

Training:

Inductions and training are provided, with a focus on supporting social distancing and health and safety measures.
