The Day Club provides social and activity opportunities for older people, mostly still living at home, but who are unable to attend more active programs offered in their local community. (Membership criteria apply.) The Club meets in the local community hall one day a week (Wednesdays), and all who attend pay a contribution for the day.

We are seeking a mature volunteer who can assist our existing volunteer team with the planning, preparation and some cooking, when needed, of morning teas and lunches, for approximately 12 people each week. You may be asked to shop for the food (which will be reimbursed) in order to provide delicious meals for our community lunch once a week. This role may also involve clearing tables and delivering meals and if necessary.
