The ideal applicant will be required to have:

A minimum one-year commitment from volunteers, with the option of extended involvement in the program Compulsory attendance to Youth Frontiers Mentoring Program training An understanding of working effectively and sensitively with people with complex needs and challenging behaviors  This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-volunteer requirements.  This includes:

Completion of a national criminal history check and International Police Check(s) (when mentor has resided overseas for 12 months or more in the past 10 years) A valid relevant state-based working with children permit. Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination, which includes Government recommended boosters.
