Ashmore Scout Group is looking for Assistant Section Leaders to join our current team.

As a Assistant Section Leader, you will be trained to run and organise a program of adventurous and educational activities for one of our youth sections (5-8 (Joeys), 8-10 (Cubs), 11-14 (Scouts) or 15-18 (Venturers)) , including camps, weekly activities, outdoor adventures and practical learning. You will only be assigned to one age group of your choice!

You will make the Scout Promise and be invested with a uniform and scarf as a member of the worldwide scout movement. You will join a diverse team of adults, including youth and parents and will find friendship and community.

You could find yourself on adventurous activities including hikes, ziplining, camping and orienteering. You can also complete your Scouts' Adventurous Activity training so you can deliver specialised adventurous activities to young people.

Ashmore Scout Group is fortunate to have a strong team of leaders and are an example of how a community and the Scouting movement can work together for our youth.

As an Adult in Scouting you will receive top quality training to help you lead our youth sections but also for career advancement or personal progression! You have the opportunity to complete heavily reduced VET Training & paid for Adventurous Activity Training.
