The Melbourne Mustangs Ice Hockey Club is a volunteer run not for profit sporting club competing in the highest league in the country, The Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL). We train and play home games at the Icehouse at Docklands and travel to most capital cities around Australia. Since inception in 2010 the club has steadily grown in competitiveness, profile and fan base.

We are seeking a creative, energetic individual with website content experience. In this role you will be directly assisting us in developing and delivering exceptional community engagement opportunities and nurturing relationships with supporters.

Like other teams within the AIHL, we publish our content to a website that sits on a platform managed at a league level. This role is focused on providing content that sits on this existing platform.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in content development for websites.
• Graphic design experience, or the ability to brief and work with volunteer designers to maintain the look and feel of our brand in content.
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Be flexible, open-minded, tolerant and appreciate the intricacies of working in a not for profit origination.
• Work well independently and as part of a small team of staff and volunteers

Knowledge of ice hockey is an advantage, but not essential.
