Victoria State Emergency Service (SES) - Brimbank Unit

It takes thousands of dedicated Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) volunteers from across the state to provide emergency assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Who is VICSES Brimbank Unit? VICSES provides emergency assistance to thousands of Victorians every year. In 2019-2020 VICSES responded to 33,742 emergency incidents across the state, contributing a total of 382,141 hours helping Victorians in need.

The Brimbank Unit, located in Keilor Park, responds to storm, flood, search & rescue, assist police/ambulance and other emergencies withinthe second largest area within Victoria - Brimbank City Council.

What do you need to know before you apply? We only ask two things of you - to be passionate about working as a team to make a positive impact to the community, and your commitment to attending regular training (one night a week) plus responding when needed on a roster.

You don't need any prior experience or skills, as we have incredible trainers who will show you everything you need to know to get out on our truck, and helping our community.
