Volunteering North Queensland is seeking interest from those wanting to volunteer for events in Townsville during 2023 and beyond.

We have many wonderful events coming to Townsville this year which require volunteers for a period of one day, a few days or even a few weeks.

The scale of these events can vary from fetes and community gatherings, to expos, festivals and state or interstate sporting events delivered by community groups, Not-For Profit organisations or Local and State Government.

Skills required are usually of a general nature, such as a positive attitude and the desire to provide a great participant experience. Induction is provided by those organising the event.

As an Event Volunteer, your contribution is greatly valued by the organisers and community alike. At the same time, you will gain social reward and experience the fun of being involved.
