Mosaic Community Care

This position involves working directly with clients, specifically focused on improving their opportunity to have their say about things within Mosaic that affect them. A recent topic was consulting about installation of security cameras at one of the houses. Topics for discussion are provided monthly.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The roles and activities may include, but are not limited to:
• Interacting and engaging with clients through conversation and other social activities. • Undertaking assignments to gather feedback from clients and make observations about their experiences and views or share specific information with clients. • Assisting clients to complete surveys (annually). • Abide by the NDIS Code of Conduct and Mosaic Policies and Procedures.

There are certain activities that volunteers are not allowed to undertake, including: • Assisting clients with personal care, such as showering or toileting.
• Manual handling. • Dispensing medication. • Driving clients in their own or a Mosaic vehicle. • Visiting clients or escorting them into the community without a Mosaic staff member present.
