We are a supportive, inclusive Neighbourhood Centre that promotes community connection and well-being through building community capacity and life-long learning, friendship and support. We are seeking individuals who can contribute to developing our Centre into a thriving community-led organisation for all ages. We have a vision, and we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who have a passion to develop the Centre's role in the local community to join our Board. Previous Board experience is not necessary, just a commitment to work as part of a team and willingness to take on projects. Understanding of Community Services Sector and advantage.

RELEVANT INFORMATION The fun bits: working with a team of board members, staff and over 50 volunteers excited by the opportunity to expand the CHNC into the vibrant centre of our community.

The responsible bits: working with the board to oversee the governance of CHNC, ensuring its legal and financial obligations are met and that the organisation is sustainable. Working with the Manage to develop and support the Vison and Values and set the strategic direction. Previous Board experience and/or listed skills are welcome but not essential. Skills in Human Resources and Recruitment welcomed
