Education School Support Specialists – Primary or Secondary
Who are we?
Ardoch is a national children’s education charity. For over 30 years the Ardoch community have delivered programs that have resulted in incredibly positive impacts on educational outcomes for children and young people in communities experiencing disadvantage. We do this by providing vital learning and well-being resources and activities to schools and students. This dynamic educational volunteer role will see you continuing to support Australian school students whilst giving back to your local community. **As an Education Volunteer you will: ** • Support students, teachers and schools in Primary and Secondary settings • Build strong foundations for early learning through support with literacy and numeracy • Provide a consistent role model for school students • Share your skills in STEM or any other area of expertise to provide greater exposure to educational opportunities • Support the delivery of Ardoch programs that aim to inspire young minds and engage them with a love of learning

What’s involved? This opportunity involves volunteering for 2 hours a week. You will work with students at the same time and at the same school each week, for a minimum of 6 months.
Required Checks: • Clear Police check (Ardoch will complete free of charge) • Working With Children Check • 3 references who can speak confidently to your character
