Global Chat Radio (GCR) has been operating since 2015 and has been located in Tuart College for the past two years. It can be heard by searching Global Chat Radio on the internet. There is a blog which contains the podcasts of past programs, this links to Sound Cloud if you wish to hear the recorded programs. Recent podcasts can be heard on Spotify in Global Chat Radio library. GCR since its beginning has played folk music from around the world on a continued basis 24/7. GCR is located in Tuart College in order to expand its operation for it to become a community radio station for the Tuart Community and the multicultural community for the whole of Perth. There is a richness of cultures in Western Australia and the basic aim of GCR is to make this available to the whole community so that we can all enjoy them. Another aim is to make it a platform of interaction and collaboration and invite all these cultures to take part on the radio and create other activities using the facilities available at Tuart College.
