The Rediscovery Centre is a retail recycling centre and salvage yard where patrons can buy, dropoff and rediscover second-hand, re-used, pre-loved goods.

Key Responsibilities: • Direct and assist tip shop customers. • Organise and sort recyclable goods at the tip shop. • Assist with salvaging. • Maintain own health and safety and that of other people in the workplace or those who may be affected by the work being carried out.

Selection Criteria:

1. Good customer service skills
2. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage a range of community members.
3. Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
4. Ability to perform moderate physical work in a safe manner.
5. All Council volunteers are required to have a satisfactory current Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate.
