MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

Would you like to visit an older person and make a real difference in their life? Have you got some time and conversation to share to reduce loneliness? Do you speak Italian?

We are seeking a volunteer visitor for an 89 year old lady at an Aged Care Home in Footscray who would love to chat in Italian with a female friend, share stories and fold serviettes together.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.
