TLG Program Volunteer

By becoming a TLG Program Volunteer, you then get first access to all upcoming programs. Including:
- the eMentor Program each semester
- the Rural Program
- new initiatives to come!
The eMentor Program runs during the university semester where you spend 1 hour per week for 8 weeks (with a break over school holidays). You work with your mentee over this period using an online platform to improve their understanding in soft skill topics such as health and wellbeing, cyber safety, positive relationships and goal setting. Students improve their resilience, confidence and critical thinking, and improve their attitudes towards transitioning to high school. Volunteers improve their leadership and mentoring skills.
The Rural Program runs during the June and November university holidays. Volunteers are trained and then transported to a rural or remote community for a week with a group of other volunteers. You spend the week at the school working one-on-one with 3 students, providing individualised tutoring and mentorship and ultimately improving their educational understanding and attitudes towards school. You also have the opportunity to explore the community and see what it's like to live in a rural or remote location for a week.
100% of volunteers would recommend TLG to their friends!
