Job Description

Come join a fun team in lifestyle at Linsell Lodge Aged Care. We are looking for caring, compassionate people who would love to volunteer in our lifestyle program assisting our residents with fun activities and support.

Some of the key tasks may include:

Undertaking activities that are appropriate to the participant and/or group. This may include help with outings when needed, as well as: listening to music together, facilitating arts & crafts, attending a gardening activity, playing cards or board games or simply having a chat over a cup of coffee.

Operating in a manner that promotes effective teamwork, good relationships with service providers, residents and their families.

Being prompt, courteous and respectful when interacting with residents, families and colleagues.

Assisting the site Lifestyle Coordinator with other tasks as directed.

A police check and NDIS check will be required to undertake this volunteer role.

Covid-19 and Flu vaccinations will also be required in order to volunteer.

Mandatory Training will also be required to volunteer in this role.
