Volunteers are currently required to assist at our Leisure and Wellness Centre which provides a range of activities for people aged over 65yrs. We currently run a variety of exercise classes, and an arts and crafts group. Volunteers assist staff with facilitating the activities, encouraging the group to participate and providing individual social support.

For this role, Volunteers should enjoy being both sociable and practical – able to engage a variety of people in conversation and to lend a hand in setting up activities and assisting staff as required. Days and hours of attendance can be negotiated.
