About the opportunity

We are seeking volunteers to provide social support (companionship and activity support) to aged care residents at our Rockdale age care home, Uniting Bruce Sharpe.

There are a range of roles available such as:

• Assisting in Men's group

• Supporting resident activities: trivia, bingo, poetry, cooking and music

• Friendship and companionship roles

We are also seeking Bi-lingual volunteers who can speak and understand Macedonian, Serbian, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin or Arabic

We’re open to other roles so if you have a particular skill or hobby, so we’d love to hear from you!
