We are excited to be back again at Blackmores Sydney Running Festival, and we have the opportunity for volunteers to get involved and cheer our Beyond Blue fundraisers across the finish line.

The Blackmores Sydney Running Festival is run on one of the most spectacular courses in the world, taking in iconic Sydney landmarks and providing runners with a unique opportunity to cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge traffic free.

The event will feature over 1500 volunteers helping to support the event across the morning. Beyond Blue are one of the exclusive Headline Charities, and our amazing fundraisers are aiming to raise over $150,000 for our 24/7 Support Service.

We’ve had over 200 volunteers join us at Blackmores Sydney Running Festival over the last 5 years, motivating our runners and cheering them on as they make their way over the finish line.

We have the exciting opportunity for 40 volunteers to join us on the day! There are two roles you can take on at the festival:

1. Drink Station - Be the first face people see as they cross the finish line! This role includes the set-up, operation, and clean-up of the Drink Station. You’ll provide water to all runners as they pass – and cheer on our incredible Beyond Blue fundraisers as they finish their run.
2. Marathon Recovery - Get ready to cheer – you’ll be rewarding marathon runners with a 'Marathon Finishers' t-shirt. You will also marshal the entrance of the zone to ensure only marathon finishers enter the Blackmores Marathon Recovery Zone.

NB: Volunteers will be required to sign up and commit to the Sydney Running Festival a long way out from the event. We must confirm final volunteer names and numbers with the event organisers by end July and cannot have volunteers pull out or be replaced any time after late August. So while we would really love to have you involved and help support our amazing fundraisers, please only do so if you can fully commit to this event, location, date and time.
